This October, the museum dresses up for Halloween
There's something about October that makes us want to play with fear. The afternoons get shorter, the first pumpkins appear in shop windows, and suddenly bats and cobwebs stop being scary and become part of the fun.
Every weekend in October, on Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, the Museum of Illusions Madrid celebrates the season with its Kids' Halloween Workshops.
There's no need to bring anything or to be good at crafts. All it takes is a little imagination. Maybe a friendly monster will appear. Or a creature that only exists in the mind of whoever makes it.
Every creation turns out different, because every child sees fear in their own way. Some like it funny. Others, a little mysterious. And almost all of them end up laughing.
This year, October 31st falls on a Saturday. So the last workshop takes place on Halloween itself.
The activity is included in the museum admission price and no booking is needed: just come along during workshop hours.

Dates: every Saturday and Sunday in October (3–4, 10–11, 17–18, 24–25 and Saturday 31)
